These Terms and Conditions govern your use of GarageResults.com (the “Site”), which is owned and operated by Whyspire LLC (“Garage Results,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Informational and DIY content

Garage Results publishes educational content about garages, garage doors and openers, weatherproofing, storage, floors, walls, tools, and related products. The Site does not provide individualized engineering, electrical, structural, legal, or other professional advice.

Projects involving garage-door springs, cables, high-tension components, electrical wiring, structural framing, vehicles, ladders, power tools, chemicals, heat sources, or local building requirements can involve serious risks. Follow the current instructions and warnings from the product manufacturer, observe applicable codes, use appropriate protective equipment, and hire a qualified professional when a task is outside your experience or requires licensed work. Never bypass a garage-door safety device.

Product information, compatibility, and editorial standards

We work to provide useful and accurate information, but products, specifications, prices, availability, model numbers, manuals, standards, and retailer listings can change. Cleaners, coatings, sealers, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, tools, replacement parts, and other products can react differently with particular materials and conditions. Floors and other surfaces may have unknown coatings, topcoats, repairs, contamination, age-related deterioration, or prior treatments. A product described by its manufacturer as suitable for epoxy, concrete, metal, plastic, paint, rubber, or another material may not be suitable for every formulation, finish, topcoat, substrate, or existing condition.

Before broad use, identify the installed material and any coating or topcoat; confirm the current product label and the surface or equipment manufacturer’s current care, compatibility, and warranty instructions; use the stated dilution, dwell time, rinsing, ventilation, protective equipment, and application method; and test the exact mixture and method on a small, inconspicuous area. Allow the test area to complete the required dwell, rinse, drying, and observation period. Stop use if you observe discoloration, loss of gloss, softening, tackiness, swelling, delamination, staining, etching, or another unwanted change. If the material cannot be identified or the instructions conflict, do not proceed until the relevant manufacturer or a qualified professional confirms the proposed use.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whyspire LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and content providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or use, arising from or related to the Site, its content, a product or service discussed on the Site, or your reliance on any information provided here.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whyspire LLC and the other parties listed above will not be liable for damage to floors, coatings, topcoats, concrete, doors, openers, vehicles, structures, finishes, tools, equipment, landscaping, or other real or personal property arising from or related to the selection, purchase, mixing, dilution, application, installation, use, misuse, incompatibility, defect, storage, disposal, or performance of a third-party product or service; a change or error in third-party instructions or claims; failure to follow current instructions or warnings; or a decision made in reliance on Site content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Whyspire LLC and the other parties listed above for all claims arising from or related to the Site or its content will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) or the amount you paid directly to Whyspire LLC for access to the specific Site content giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied with the Site is to stop using it.

External websites and transactions

The Site may link to websites, videos, products, and services operated by third parties. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, availability, security, products, services, or transactions. Visiting a third-party site is at your own risk and is subject to that party’s terms and policies.

Acceptable use

Indemnification

Governing law and severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Site, our practices, or applicable requirements. The “Last updated” date will show when the Terms were most recently revised. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
